Agreement to Terms

Welcome to ZenScroll (“ZenScroll,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ZenScroll mobile application, website, services, and related features.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using ZenScroll, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use ZenScroll.

Description of Service

ZenScroll is a wellness and productivity application designed to help users develop healthier digital habits through meditation, mindfulness activities, and screen-time management tools.

ZenScroll allows users to earn app usage time through meditation and mindfulness exercises and uses optional iOS Screen Time and Android focus permissions to support those goals.

ZenScroll is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ZenScroll.

If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

By using ZenScroll, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Local Profile and Store Accounts

The rebuilt ZenScroll app (version 2.0 and later) does not require email signup, a ZenScroll password, or Sign in with Apple. Your profile, preferences, and meditation history are stored locally. Deleting the app or its data may remove that history, and the app does not provide account-based progress synchronization.

Subscription purchases and restoration use your Apple or Google store account. You are responsible for the security of your device and store account. Restoring a purchase restores eligible Premium access, not your local history.

Screen Time Features

On iOS, ZenScroll uses FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings after authorization. On Android, optional usage access and display-over-other-apps permissions support monitoring of selected apps and the focus screen. You choose which apps to limit and may revoke permissions through device settings.

These features depend on operating-system behavior and permissions. ZenScroll cannot guarantee prevention of all app usage; device settings, operating-system updates, and user actions may affect restrictions. ZenScroll encourages healthier habits but does not guarantee behavioral outcomes.

Wellness Disclaimer

ZenScroll provides mindfulness, meditation, and habit-building tools.

ZenScroll is not:

• A medical device
• Mental health treatment
• Psychological counseling
• Therapy
• Medical advice

Information and content provided through ZenScroll are for educational and informational purposes only.

Always seek qualified medical or mental health advice regarding any health concerns.

Never disregard professional advice because of information obtained through ZenScroll.

Subscriptions and Billing

Instructor-led guided sessions require ZenScroll Premium. The two-minute introductory meditation and self-guided sessions remain available without a subscription.

Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.

By purchasing a subscription:

• You authorize the selected store to charge your store account
• Billing is handled by Apple or Google
• Renewals occur automatically unless canceled

The purchase screen shows the localized price, billing period, and any applicable trial before you confirm. An annual plan is charged for the full year upfront; a displayed monthly equivalent is for comparison and is not monthly billing. Subscription pricing, features, and billing periods may change from time to time.

Any pricing changes will be communicated in accordance with the applicable store requirements.

Subscription Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current billing period.

No refunds are provided except where required by applicable law or the applicable store's refund policies.

Refund requests must be submitted through the store that processed the purchase.

License to Use ZenScroll

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use ZenScroll for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Copy the application
• Modify the application
• Reverse engineer the application
• Sell or sublicense the application
• Use ZenScroll for unlawful purposes
• Interfere with service operation

All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by ZenScroll.

User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate applicable laws
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Interfere with service functionality
• Upload malicious software
• Misuse support channels
• Circumvent technical restrictions

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access that violates these Terms.

Intellectual Property

ZenScroll and all associated content, including:

• Logos
• Branding
• Designs
• Software
• Text
• Graphics
• Features

are owned by ZenScroll and protected by intellectual property laws.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership rights to users.

Feedback

If you provide suggestions, feedback, or ideas regarding ZenScroll, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, modify, and incorporate that feedback without compensation.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:

• Continuous availability
• Error-free operation
• Uninterrupted access

ZenScroll may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without liability.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to ZenScroll if:

• These Terms are violated
• Fraudulent activity is detected
• Legal obligations require action
• Service abuse occurs

You may stop using ZenScroll at any time.

Upon termination, your right to use ZenScroll ends immediately.

Disclaimer of Warranties

ZenScroll is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Availability
• Accuracy

We do not guarantee that ZenScroll will meet your expectations or achieve specific results.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ZenScroll, its owners, employees, affiliates, contractors, and licensors shall not be liable for:

• Indirect damages
• Consequential damages
• Lost profits
• Lost data
• Emotional distress
• Personal injury
• Device issues
• Service interruptions

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to ZenScroll during the twelve months preceding the claim.

If you have not paid any fees, our liability shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ZenScroll and its affiliates from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of ZenScroll
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of applicable laws
• Violation of third-party rights

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located within California unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Updated Terms become effective when posted.

Your continued use of ZenScroll following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
